The first episode shows Jessica King being put in charge of Toronto’s Major Crimes Task Force, a unit that handles the most volatile and challenging cases, everything from rape and murder to gang violence and robbery. If that weren't enough to deal with, there is also plenty of resentment coming from her co-workers, not to mention a somewhat strained marriage at home. But, it's pretty clear that King will be able to get through it all with her wicked sense of humor still in tact.
