Mike Richards: RocknRolla, this movie is a wise-cracking shoot-em-up starring Gerard Butler and Jeremy Piven - The Piv! It's directed by Guy Ritchie and I interviewed them all while I was at Comic-Con.
Mike Richards: RocknRolla tells the story of a Russian mobster who orchestrates a crooked land deal, where millions of dollars are up for grabs and all of London's criminal underworld wants in on the action.
Mike Richards: When it came to making the movie, director Guy Ritchie enjoyed it immensely.
Guy Ritchie: To a degree this one was more fun I suppose than any of the others. Just because there wasn't any pressure you know in the other ones I'm swimming against the current and this one I'm not swimming against the current and everyone wants me to manifest this thing and it makes life easy for me I mean it's something that I want to do anyway, it's the genre that I like.
Mike Richards: Co-stars Gerard Butler and Jeremy Piven had glowing reviews for their director.
Jeremy Piven: It just feels like he invented this kind of in your fresh face dark comedic gangster romp and that's kind of his return to form with this and to me its even better than Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Even better than both those? To me in a way because he could do that so well because as a person as an artist he's contributed to this movie, so we're proud to be a part of it.
Gerard Butler: It's Guy Ritchie and he's back to his best, without a doubt. So, I can't wait to see what the public thinks.
Mike Richards: A great group in that. RocknRolla is expected to be released this October.
