In the new workplace docuseries, The Capones, the spirit of the infamous gangster Al Capone still lives on in the form of this drama-filled, lasagna-loving dysfunctional family who are living a true mash up of the American dream as they run the family restaurant “Capone’s Restaurant & Pizzeria.” With a notorious family tree and larger-than-life personalities surrounding him, Dom Capone (“The Boss”) does his best to keep the family business running. No matter what happens, the family always ends the week with the traditional Sunday dinner, where the drama is always spicier than the pepperoni.
Not only does Dom bear the name of the most infamous gangster of all time, Dom runs the family business in a manner only a Capone could. He's got a hot temper, an extravagant lifestyle, and a rag-tag, unkempt crew that he tries to keep in check. Equally, Dom is the glue that holds the family together. This black belt business man puts family, friends and his princess first.
Staci has earned the nickname “The Princess” from the Capone family after ten years of being Dom’s girlfriend. Always topic of gossip at Capone’s, there are several members of the family who she does not get along with at all. Fiercely loyal to Dom, Staci is more than just a pretty face and does her best to protect her man.
Dawn is Dom’s over-bearing mother and matriarch of the family. This quick-witted pistol of a business woman has no problem saying exactly what’s on her mind and she is always getting involved in Dom’s personal and business affairs. But, you can always count on her to bring the family together every Sunday for dinner.
Uncle Lou is Dom’s uncle and one of his few remaining blood relatives. Dom has a ton of respect for his uncle, and the two are very close. This lifelong wise-guy and self-titled ladies man thinks of himself as a world-class singer.
Madeline is the attention-grabbing hostess at Capone’s, who is a longtime friend (and ex- girlfriend) of Dom’s. Her outgoing and sometimes shocking personality has earned her a bad reputation among the staff. With Dom always defending her mishaps, Madeline gets away with a lot of bad behavior at Capone’s.
Dom and Jeff grew up in the same neighborhood as kids and have been friends ever since. Jeff is down on his luck, doing his best to recover from a layoff from his union job. Though he is truly the world’s worst pizza delivery man, he gets away with it because Dom lets him.
After years as a regular at Capone’s, Carmine became Dom’s business partner and eventually a close friend. He loves to start arguments for his own entertainment, and loves practical jokes – usually directed at Madeline and Staci.
Bart is one of Dom’s oldest and closest friends. He has a reputation for being a troublemaker and being involved in “odd-jobs” for connected people. Bart is a regular at the bar inside Capone’s and loves to brag about his beautiful fiancé... though nobody has ever met her.
