When Marion Cotillard was officially confirmed to reunite with her Inception director Christopher Nolan for his third and final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, way back in April, Cotillard was reportedly playing Wayne Industries board member Miranda Tate, a character that does not exist in the comic books. However, rumors persist that Cotillard's Tate is not all that she seems to be.

It's a busy day for casting news in Hollywood. Two hotly anticipated movies, The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight Rises have announced new additions to their respective casts.
Leven Rambin (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Jack Quaid have been cast as Glimmer and Marvel in director Gary Ross' The Hunger Games. Rambin has mostly appeared on the small screen, appearing in One Tree Hill, CSI: Miami, and Private Practice. And if the last name Quaid sounds familiar, it should; he's the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan and it looks as if The Hunger Games will be his first Hollywood role. Like yesterday's casting news, the announcement was made via the movie's Facebook page
Rambin and Quaid join a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), and Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), and two newcomers announced Monday — Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh) and Amandla Stenberg (Rue).

Director Christopher Nolan is trying his best to keep the details of his third and final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, a deeply-guarded secret, which is why the characters that Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are playing are still unconfirmed. Cotillard is rumored to be playing Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul (played by Liam Neeson in Batman begins).
Gordon-Levitt, meanwhile, was rumored by "insiders" to be playing Alberto Falcone, the son of mobster Carmine Falcone (played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins), but "sources" for another site refuted the Falcone claim while failing to mention an alternative character (our money's still on Gordon-Levitt as the younger Falcone). The latest casting news could clear up at least part of the rumors, but not all of it.

In the months and years following the debut of The Dark Knight (TDK), the void of news about a possible sequel was often filled by legendary actor Sir Michael Caine, who played Bruce Wayne's (Christian Bale) butler and surrogate father, Alfred Pennyworth in Batman Begins and TDK. Caine started the rumor, now debunked, that Johnny Depp would be starring in The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR) as the Riddler, and was the first to announce that the sequel to TDK would go into production in April, which is only one month earlier than the expected start date. In a recent interview with E! News, Caine once again chatted about Batman, discussing the TDKR script and what he thinks about the recent cast additions.

Much of the marketing for Inception, has focused on the reality-warping special effects and mind-bending "dream thief" concept at the heart of the plot of the movie. Apparently, Warner Bros. feels confident that potential moviegoers finally have the concept down, because the studio recently released a huge selection of new still images that are less about the action and effects and more about the main characters of the movie, as played by Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy, and Ken Watanabe. Accompanying the stills are also several pictures from the set showing writer-director Christopher Nolan giving his actors some direction.

With Inception just under a month away, a deluge of promo material has been released. Writer/director Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated thriller dropped 4 new posters and 5 new pictures. Revealed in the latest trailer, the "dream-theft" concept and an introduction of each of the major characters. All this using almost entirely new footage.

Christopher Nolan regular Michael Caine confirmed he will appear in the director's upcoming sci-fi thriller Inception:
I have a little part in it, yes. Just a tiny part. Chris and I arevery good friends so I’ll do that little part. I think I’ll work aboutthree days. It’ll be extraordinary, wait until you see this one. Ithink if I say another word he’s going to kill me!
With Joseph Gordon-Levitt recently joining the cast, and Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard and Cillian Murphy already on board, this is turning out to be quite an ensemble. No new details about the movie's plot was revealed, with Inception remaining shrouded in secrecy.

Leonardo DiCaprio's getting some company for Christopher Nolan's Inception that reads like a who's who of indie movie all-stars. Variety reports that Warner Bros is negotiating with Juno's Ellen Page, La Vie En Rose's Marion Cotillard and Sunshine and Nolan semi-regular Cillian Murphy to join the cast of the Nolan-scripted sci fi thriller.
DiCaprio will play a CEO type, and Cotillard is reportedly playing his wife. Page will play a grad student that is DiCaprio's sidekick.
