Not to be overshadowed by the summer's blockbusters — well, that and the fact that tomorrow is Edward Cullen's 111th birthday — Summit is getting a second Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer queued up to dominate the web.
While the full trailer doesn't release until tomorrow morning (and, yes, we'll post it when it drops), we have a 15-second preview of it today. We got a look at vampire Bella (Kristin Stewart) stalking a deer in the woods in the first teaser trailer for the final installment of the Twilight Saga. This time the focus shifts to Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) and the Volturi's anger at her existence.

It's been a few weeks since anything new from the last chapter of the Twilight Saga was released, but today there are three new character posters out for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Since there are three of them, it's no surprise that Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are the characters represented.
In the posters, Bella is looking decidedly un-human with red eyes, granite skin, and striking vampire beauty. She's also wearing what is surely a very chic leather jacket that coordinates nicely with the wool coat that Edward is wearing in his poster. Jacob is, of course, just wearing a t-shirt, but being a werewolf he wouldn't need or want a coat. The only other elements on the posters are the November 16 release date and the word "Forever." Simple but effective.

Happy Thursday, twi-hards! It's still a long wait until the final installment of the Twilight series is in theaters, but here's a little something to brighten up the day of any Team Jacob or Team Edward members out there. Two new photos from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 have just been released, and while they may not be action packed and they don't give away much about the movie, they still manage to give fans what they want.
One features a gorgeous, red-eyed vampire version of Bella (Kristen Stewart) standing with her Edward (Robert Pattinson). The other pic simply features Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in a black T-shirt with a bit of a five o'clock shadow creeping up on him. He's certainly wearing that extra bit of facial hair very well.

The worlds of Twilight and The Hunger Games are about to collide.
The LA Times reports that the trailer for the fifth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, will debut before The Hunger Games when it hits theaters March 23.
The move makes sense now that Lionsgate owns Summit, the studio behind Twilight. As the Times article points out, while anticipation is high for The Hunger Games, it doesn't have the proven built-in fanbase that Twilight has. Will the Twi-hards who made Twilight a multi-billion dollar franchise show up to watch Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) try to survive the Hunger Games? Lionsgate is definitely banking on it.

Becoming the ninth film of 2011 to have grossed $500 mill worldwide in twelve days, Breaking Dawn Part 1 has surpassed many expectations. Eleven other films also hit $220 million in North America in just ten days, but the numbers still deem impressive to the Twilight Saga. With $223.4 million domestically and $285 million internationally, Breaking Dawn has definitely done Summit Entertainment proud, and the Co-chairmen of Summit, Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger, had something to say about it.
We couldn't be more pleased with the success of this film and a franchise that the fans have continued to support over the past several years. Thank you to all involved with the films from the actors, filmmakers and Stephenie Meyer to the most important group of all, the global fan base that continues to drive a desire for more Edward, Jacob and Bella
Even though New Moon continues to carry the crown as far as Twilight box office success goes, with a domestic earning of $233 million at the same point in North America, Breaking Dawn is managing to out do the third movie to the saga, Eclipse. This may be a breakthrough for the movie, but there is still a significant amount of time before the movie is out of theaters.

With just a couple days to go until Twilight's Breaking Dawn Part 1 US debut, a whopping $142 million in ticket sales is expected for the movie's opening weekend. Summit Entertainment gauged around $110-125M, but Rival Studios claims Summit is underestimating by almost $20M! If these numbers ring true, Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be competing with New Moon for the Twilight saga's highest revenue opening weekend.
So far, Twilight has had quite the successful run, with the first three movies making more than $277.2M in their opening weekends and approximately $1.6 billion overall. It's no wonder this much-anticipated 4th part of the series has such high expectations for the 4,061 U.S. theaters it will be released in this coming weekend.

Breaking Dawn is very different from the first three novels in the series (Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse) and saw numerous mixed reviews during its release week. The millions-strong fan base was divided — everyone either loved it or hated it. So what does that mean for the upcoming Breaking Dawn movies? Some fans disappointed by the book are looking for the movies to be better, while those who loved the final book worry the movies won't be quite as good. How do Twilight fans plan to celebrate the premiere of the first Breaking Dawn movie? A common theme emerged when we asked that question. Seems like most fans have been busy re-reading the series and re-watching the first three movies. Come November 18, pounds of mushroom ravioli will be eaten before fans dress in wedding-guest attire and head out to midnight releases. (And, from what we heard, a whole lot of understanding husbands will be solo parenting for a good part of this coming weekend.)

This is the week that Twilight fans have been waiting for. Breaking Dawn Part 1 hits theaters on Thursday night and there's plenty of Cullen action this week leading up to the big event. Of course, Eclipse in in theaters tomorrow, but the fourth installment of the Twilight franchise premieres tonight in L.A., and you can watch the red-carpet footage below.
Some fans have been camping out for days hoping to catch a glimpse of the action, but it'll all be right here, where you can watch it in comfort. The live stream includes interviews, fashion coverage, and the arrivals of the movie's stars, and it all starts at 8PM ET / 5PM PT.

Can't make it to the Nokia Theatre in L.A. for the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1? No worries, fans can catch all the action through the official live stream hosted by Yahoo! on Monday, November 14 at 8PM ET / 5PM PM, and we'll have it right here.
This coverage will definitely have some high production value. The HD live stream will feature 5 hosts on two interview platforms, making it possible to get interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Peter Facinelli all at the same time. There will be eight cameras in action catching footage of the main interview platform, the arrivals, and a bird's-eye view, as well as fashion coverage. Another camera will focus on the fans at the event.
