The first TV spot for The Twilight Saga: New Moon was released on Fandango yesterday, and is aptly titled "Event."
The 32-second clip shows new footage of the wolves, as well as a new face-off between Edward, Jacob, and Bella that wasn't included in the book. As always, the script has been tweaked to include more action, and we think it looks better for it. As Bella screams, "No please, Jake, don't!", we bet every Twilighter watching the clip fell into rapt love-triangle-drama induced silence.
Robert Pattinson (Edward), Kristen Stewart (Bella), and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) look more comfortable in their roles, while Edi Gathegi (Laurent) and Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) look super cool running through the woods at break-neck speed.

To promote their Twilight DVD release parties happening all over the US tonight, Borders have a new video from the set of New Moon that was filmed during a movie photoshoot. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Rachelle Lefevre all appear and take turns thanking the "best fans in the world."
Lefevre and Greene are both wearing some pretty cool vampire contacts, while Pattinson's hair looks like it needs to grow a few inches to match Edward's trademark long locks that we first saw in Twilight. In order to stick to Stephenie Meyer's no-change-to-physical-appearance vampire mythology, perhaps it's time for some hair extentions to make an appearance. Posted 03.20.09 by reelz
Rumor has it that New Moon has officially begun shooting in Tofino, British Columbia, around the South Beach area. Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Kristen Stewart (Bella), and Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) were spotted yesterday, and we can only assume that filming has started with the infamous Bella cliff-diving in La Push scene.
Taylor Lautner certainly looks more like his character this time around, which is good news for Team Jacob supporters. Now, if the production team could just locate a better wig for him, we'd all be happy. Posted 03.20.09 by reelz
