A lawsuit of $10 million has been filed against Lady Gaga. A toy manufacturer is saying the Mother Monster is in breach of contract concerning a doll that was to be released in the singer's likeness. According to MGA Entertainment, Gaga "engaged in intentional and deliberate delays" to make sure that the doll's released coincided with the release of her upcoming perfume and album. The company also got a little catty and claimed that Lady Gaga didn't approve of their original prototypes because they weren't pretty enough.
The cast of ABC's Modern Family have filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court to get their contracts with the show voided. Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet are claiming that their deal with 20th Century Fox is in violation of a California law that prohibits personal services contracts for longer than 7 years. Though Ed O'Neill had a higher pay rate than his co-stars and had a different contract, reports say that he is joining the other cast members' lawsuit in a show of solidarity.
Rumors are running rampant about Kristen Stewart breaking Robert Pattinson's heart. US Weekly published a pic of KStew playing kissy face with her Snow White and the Hunstman director Rupert Sanders, who is married and has two children. The scandalous and possibly Photoshopped picture has media outlets reporting that Stewart is "devastated" and that Pattinson is "crushed."
American Idol has Mariah Carey signed on to judge next year's contestants, and now it looks like a country star may join her behind the judge's table. Deadline reports that the show is courting Brad Paisley to be on the panel. Having Paisley on the show would make sense considering the show has produced several successful country acts, as well as the fact that he has worked with Idol alum Carrie Underwood. Also, it only seems fair to have a pretty-eyed white boy singer/songwriter type judge the show, seeing as those are the only contestants that win anymore. Posted 07.25.12 by Mandy
The panel for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 has just come to a close and all the key players were in attendance. Of course the trio, Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) were there as well as series creator Stephenie Meyer. The Cullens were all in attendance, including Kellan Lutz who was remarkably handsome in his deep tan. Though it's not surprising he looks good tanned, we've just become so used to seeing him as a very pale vampire.
One of the more interesting answers of the afternoon came from Meyer who was asked if she planned to complete Midnight Sun, the story of the novel Twilight told from Edward's point of view. Meyer replied that she is burned out on vampires, but joking suggested that Pattinson write it. What we love about that response is that it leaves her wide open to write about werewolves or half-human-half-vampire children or shyster lawyers who forge documents for undead clients. All of these possibilities are left wide open. More about the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Panel >> Posted 07.12.12 by Mandy
Not to be overshadowed by the summer's blockbusters — well, that and the fact that tomorrow is Edward Cullen's 111th birthday — Summit is getting a second Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer queued up to dominate the web.
While the full trailer doesn't release until tomorrow morning (and, yes, we'll post it when it drops), we have a 15-second preview of it today. We got a look at vampire Bella (Kristin Stewart) stalking a deer in the woods in the first teaser trailer for the final installment of the Twilight Saga. This time the focus shifts to Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) and the Volturi's anger at her existence. Watch the preview of teaser trailer #2 >> Posted 06.19.12 by reelz
The fifth and final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, hits theaters this fall, and there are sure to be different dynamics at play with the arrival of a new and key character. Renesmee Cullen (Mackenzie Foy) manages to break the Twilight love triangle, infuriate the Volturi, and change vampire-human dynamics forever just by being born. She certainly deserves a spot alongside Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly.
The arrival of the newest member of the Cullen clan not only changed the dynamics between the characters, but according to EW's interview with Pattinson, it changed the dynamics among the cast as well. Since vampires stay the same age forever, the cast are all fairly close in age and they're "really not polite to each other anymore," says Pattinson. "You'd have to tone it down when Mackenzie was around." They apparently weren't always successful at remembering a kid was close by, though. "She had a little swear jar, and I think she made 850 bucks or something." Smart girl. More about Renesmee and Breaking Dawn - Part 2 >> Posted 06.13.12 by Mandy
It's been a few weeks since anything new from the last chapter of the Twilight Saga was released, but today there are three new character posters out for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. Since there are three of them, it's no surprise that Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are the characters represented.
In the posters, Bella is looking decidedly un-human with red eyes, granite skin, and striking vampire beauty. She's also wearing what is surely a very chic leather jacket that coordinates nicely with the wool coat that Edward is wearing in his poster. Jacob is, of course, just wearing a t-shirt, but being a werewolf he wouldn't need or want a coat. The only other elements on the posters are the November 16 release date and the word "Forever." Simple but effective. See the posters >> Posted 05.24.12 by Mandy
Happy Thursday, twi-hards! It's still a long wait until the final installment of the Twilight series is in theaters, but here's a little something to brighten up the day of any Team Jacob or Team Edward members out there. Two new photos from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 have just been released, and while they may not be action packed and they don't give away much about the movie, they still manage to give fans what they want.
One features a gorgeous, red-eyed vampire version of Bella (Kristen Stewart) standing with her Edward (Robert Pattinson). The other pic simply features Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in a black T-shirt with a bit of a five o'clock shadow creeping up on him. He's certainly wearing that extra bit of facial hair very well. Despite the fact that filming on the final Twilight installments, Breaking Dawn 1 and 2, finished nearly a year ago, looks like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will play Edward and Bella one more time.
On the movie's official Facebook page, director Bill Condon announced Stewart and Pattinson are returning to Vancouver, British Columbia, for reshoots for this November's Breaking Dawn: Part 2.
Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.
A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…
I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!
Until then, have a very happy spring, and I’ll check back in with you soon.
Unlike Joss Whedon's rumored Avengers reshoots, Condon will have a few months to work the new footage into the movie. Reshoots are rather common for large productions, especially for back-to-back productions (both parts of Breaking Dawn were filmed consecutively). While filming the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson called back the cast several times for reshoots. Posted 04.15.12 by Chris
On-screen couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of the ever-popular vampire saga Twilight have been notoriously quiet about their off-screen relationship. The two keep a very low profile — so low, in fact, that no one's really clear about when their relationship began. (It's been rumored the pair has been together since the filming of the first movie.)
They usually avoid any PDA, so Bella and Edward fans should enjoy this admittedly blurry peek at some off-screen intimacy. In a candid, non-paparazzi photo from last week, you can see the normally timid Stewart with her arms wrapped around Pattinson's neck. more details and the full photo >> Posted 02.24.12 by reelz
The worlds of Twilight and The Hunger Games are about to collide.
The LA Times reports that the trailer for the fifth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, will debut before The Hunger Games when it hits theaters March 23.
The move makes sense now that Lionsgate owns Summit, the studio behind Twilight. As the Times article points out, while anticipation is high for The Hunger Games, it doesn't have the proven built-in fanbase that Twilight has. Will the Twi-hards who made Twilight a multi-billion dollar franchise show up to watch Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) try to survive the Hunger Games? Lionsgate is definitely banking on it. watch the new trailer for The Hunger Games Posted 02.10.12 by Chris

Alec Baldwin was not kicked off an American Airlines flight for playing "Words With Friends" as has been reported, but because after he was told to turn off the game he stormed to the bathroom and slammed the door so hard the captain called back to flight attendants to find out what was happening. At any rate, Zynga, the company behind "Words With Friends," tweeted a pic in support of Baldwin.
Terrence Howard's estranged wife Michelle Ghent was granted a restraining order against the actor, claiming he regularly beats her and threatens to kill her, but Howard says it's all a lie. In documents filed with the court Ghent alleges Howard:
— Threatened to throw her off a balcony
— Said, "If you tell anyone about my business, I'll kill you and no one will ever know."
— Yelled, "B!tch, walk home. That's my car, I pay for it."
— Said, "I'll hit a woman quicker than I'd hit a man."
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kim Richards is back in rehab not just for alcohol abuse, but for "other problems" and that they're "serious." Meanwhile, Kelly Bensimons, who was booted off this season's show, has gone back to her modeling roots and can clearly still rock it at 43.
Forbes has released its list of Hollywood's Best Actors for the Buck and Kristen Stewart is at No. 1. For every $1 Stewart is paid her films earn an average $55.83. KStew is followed by Anne Hathaway ($45.67), Robert Pattinson ($39.43), Daniel Radcliffe ($34.24), and Shia LaBeouf ($29.40).
Last month Forbes listed the most overpaid actors in Hollywood, and Drew Barrymore was the runaway winner/loser, earning just 40 cents for every dollar spent on her movies. Posted 12.07.11 by reelz
