It looks like this holiday season is going to be chock-full of Twilight. First, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens just before Thanksgiving, giving fans an opportunity to watch the movie in theaters (again) as they're digesting turkey. Christmas is getting some Twilight action too, thanks to Hallmark's Eclipse-themed Christmas ornament. Now it's clear that New Year's Day is also getting a Twilight infusion with the 2012 Twilight calendar.
Some images of the calendar have been snagged by breakingdawnmovie.org, and it seems that 2012 is the year of the Cullen. Sure, there are two months of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), but it looks like all the rest feature a member of the Cullen family.
Sorry, werewolves, the vampires definitely win this round.

As The Twilight Saga: Eclipse gears up for its June 30th release, Summit Entertainment is releasing new footage faster than Edward can run. The new scenes focus mostly on Edward, Bella and Jacob, but you'll be sure to get a good look at the wolf pack and the Cullens.

Late last night Summit Entertainment confirmed what Twilighters have assumed for a while: Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer's series, will be split into two movies.
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief at the announcement, which also confirms that all the main cast members will be returning for both movies — yes, even Ashley Greene (Alice) and Kellan Lutz (Emmett).

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been a bit quiet on the image side of things recently, but all that looks about to change as Summit Entertainment gears up for the June 30th theatrical release date. Several new movie stills have turned up this week, showing the Cullen boys, Edward and Bella pre-kiss and the nasty looking newborn vampires.

An early image of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse oversized 2011 calendar shows the cast as we've never seen them before — or in slightly different poses, at least.
Jacob (Taylor Lautner) looks mean and buff, while Edward (Robert Pattinson) seems his usual concerned self. It's no wonder Bella (Kristen Stewart) looks a tad stressed out — she's got a lot to contend with. If she's not choosing between vampires and werewolves, she's running from porcelain doll look-alike Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard), and dodging creepy child vampire Jane (Dakota Fanning). It's hard being a mortal in Forks.
And let's not forget Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) who, to be honest, looks like he's seen much better days. We're not sure who styles his hair, but it's steadily getting worse with each movie. Look on the bright side — at least he doesn't resemble a meathead Jock gone wrong, unlike poor Emmett (Kellan Lutz). Be grateful for small mercies.

Today, Summit Entertainment surprised Twilighters with three anticlimactic stills from the upcoming movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The new images are nothing we haven't seen before, showing the Cullens looking perplexed, Bella brooding, and Edward and Jacob mid face-off.
The Cullens are strangely color coordinated, and look like they should be in a denim commercial rather than gearing up to fight some badass immortals.

Filmofilia.com has posted 77 new New Moon images, all taken from the New Moon Official Illustrated Movie Companion, which hits shelves tomorrow.
Now's your chance to see Edward kissing his beloved Bella, the Volturi, Carlisle in the 1800s, many half-naked werewolves, and Robert Pattinson wearing a very nice coat.
We're glad to see that Pattinson's hair has been successfuly Edward-i-fied, and that Kristen Stewart still makes Bella look like a dull, run-of-the-mill high school student. Really, has the costume department forgotten that the character likes to wear a bit of color every now and then? We're wondering how Elizabeth Reaser's Esme has managed to transform herself so successfully, considering her appearance should, in vampire lore, stay exactly as it was in Twilight. And as for Jackson Rathbone's strange stance and facial expression, we're just going to gloss over that one and pretend it doesn't exist.
On the plus side, the Volturi look mean and menacing, and Taylor Lautner looks set to score a legion of female fans. New Moon is definitely well on its way to being the biggest movie of the year, and with no box-office competition to worry about in November, we think it'll dominate theater screens for much longer than Twilight did.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse began filming yesterday and, according to Lainey Gossip, one of the first scenes to be shot was Jasper's historical flashback. Things are looking good for Twilight fans — with both Jasper's and Rosalie's flashback scenes on the cards, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg already seems to be staying pretty close to the book. Now, if she'd just explain what appears to be a Jacob-Bella kiss in the new New Moon trailer (check it out below), we'd all be happy.
Kristen Stewart has also been spotted getting tested for new wigs, after chopping her long locks off for rocker movie The Runaways. Let's just hope it looks realistic, and not like Jackson Rathbone's curly mess they call hair.

Rumor has it filming of New Moon's Cullen-house scenes wrapped yesterday, ending with what looks like Bella's birthday party.
Peter Facinelli (Carlisle), Nikki Reed (Rosalie), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper), Kristen Stewart (Bella) , and Robert Pattinson (Edward) were all spotted wearing birthday party attire, in order to film what is one of the most important scenes in the book -- the scene where everything goes wrong.
We're happy to see that Reed's blonde wig looks more realistic than previous efforts, and this time we hope Rosalie's hair will stop changing in every scene (Twilight, anyone?). Even she isn't clever enough to change her hair whilst running from a murderous vampire. Continuity, people. It's important.
