International Trailer for Bridesmaids Shows Jon Hamm's Dark Side

Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy, Bridesmaids, is often referred to "the female Hangover", which, considering the Bridesmaids cast doesn't head to Vegas or wake up not remembering the previous evenings' debauchery, isn't a comment on the movie's plot. Instead, the description is a commentary on the mostly female ensemble cast that says "ladies can be as funny as guys," which seems like a back-handed compliment.
What Bridesmaids shares with The Hangover is that the Paul Feig-directed comedy follows a group of disparate friends coming together when one of them is getting married. Saturday Night Live's Kristen Wiig (who also co-wrote the screenplay) plays Annie, who finds herself a maid of honor to her best friend (played by Maya Rudolph) and finds her life slowly unraveling as a result. The comedy debuted at the recent South by Southwest Festival to excellent reviews, which called the comedy "hilarious and heartfelt" and says that Wiig "not only shines but delivers a star-making performance that will put her at the top of the list of comedic actors in Hollywood, male of female."
After the first trailer debuted in February, a new, international trailer has arrived online that starts by showing Jon Hamm as Wiig's jerk of a boyfriend.
Bridesmaids was produced by Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, Funny People), and co-stars Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Melissa McCarthy.
