First Trailer for Final Destination 5 Crash Lands

For those following the Final Destination franchise — and box office receipts for 2009's The Final Destination show there's a huge number of fans still interested — it's no mystery that any sequel will include a group of people surviving a major disaster after one person receives some kind of premonition. What fans seem to wait for is the imaginative ways that Death comes for the cast of each sequel.
Emma Bell, the star of horror movie Frozen and the first season of AMC's The Walking Dead, talked to Den of Geek about the "awful and gruesome" deaths in Final Destination 5, which, like The Final Destination, will arrive in 3-D.
These movies just find bigger and better methods of killing people off in just awful and gruesome ways, and people love to watch that. But now with the 3D, it's not just going to be watching it, it's going to be almost feeling it. I've seen some of the 3D footage and it's terrifying. When things come flying at the characters in the movie, they really come flying into the audience. People are going to be squirming. The target audience is just going to love, love, love it.
As for any spoilers on the death scenes, Bell said that "the main premonition is about a suspension bridge collapse, so think about how many ways people can die on a bridge."
Thankfully, no one has to think about it, as the first trailer for Final Destination 5 has been released online.
Final Destination 5 was written by Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and directed by James Cameron protege Steven Quale (Aliens of the Deep) and stars Nicholas D'Agosto (Fired Up), Arlen Escarpeta (Friday the 13th), P.J. Byrne (Dinner for Schmucks), David Koechner (Anchorman) and Tony Todd, who reprises his Final Destination and Final Destination 2 character of the prophetic mortician Bludworth in Final Destination 5.
