First Look at Ed Harris as John McCain in Game Change

The upcoming HBO movie Game Change follows the 2008 Presidential bid by Senator John McCain and then-Alaskan governor Sarah Palin. With Austin Powers trilogy director Jay Roach at the helm, it would seem that Game Change might have a comedic slant, but the additions of Academy Award-nominated actors Ed Harris (Apollo 13) and Julianne Moore (The End of the Affair) respectively cast as McCain and Palin indicates that the movie will be a dramatic adaptation of the 2010 novel written by journalists John Heilemann and Mark Halperin that covered the entire 2008 presidential election.
Moore debuted her eerie resemblance to Palin last month, and EW has the first look photo of Harris, who again looks a whole lot like the Arizona senator.
Shooting on Game Change began in April, from a script by Danny Strong, who previously teamed with Roach for the 2008 HBO movie Recount, which covered the 2000 presidential election.
There is currently no release date for Game Change. Woody Harrelson co-stars as Republican campaign strategist Steve Schmidt and Ron Livingston as senior McCain-Palin campaign advisor Mark Wallace.
