Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo Update The Avengers

The start of production on Marvel's upcoming The Avengers adaptation was announced at the end of April, but, besides a script leak that ultimately didn't halt production and the news that Gwyneth Paltrow could "very briefly" return as Pepper Potts for The Avengers, news about the movie has been relatively quiet.
Filling the update void is Mark Ruffalo, who offered a few words on the production to fans via his Twitter account.
Avengers is going really well. We are having fun. Its going to kick ass. Joss W[hedon] Rocks that shibby. I am very impressed by him and his direction.
Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk, in The Avengers, and was indirectly asked if the Hulk was going to say his signature phrase. (Props to @Iceman525 for getting The Hulk to open up.)
I'm not going to say that I'm going to say "HULK, SMASH" but I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say "HULK, SMASH" either.
Besides Ruffalo, Chris Evans, who will reprise his role as Captain America in The Avengers, also spoke about the New Mexico-based production, telling MTV that all is well in Albuquerque.
It's going great. It's not an easy task for Joss to incorporate all these characters, and not only is he doing a fantastic job, but everyone is getting along so well. In my experience, when you do a movie with a lot of big stars, it feels like you work and then you go [home]. There's a lot of camaraderie. We hang out together, we spend time together.
Evans explained that the cast's unfamiliarity with their surroundings has led to the group bonding.
We're stuck in Albuquerque, no one is from there, no one knows what to do, so when we're done with work if we have a weekend, we all go get dinner, we all hang out, grab a drink, go to someone's house. It actually feels like a team.
While it's always nice to hear that everyone likes each other, what about the movie? Evans says that he "geeked out" a little when he saw the cast assembled for the first time.
When we did Captain America, you're the only superhero on set. [With] The Avengers, there were a couple days where I came to set and you see [Chris] Hemsworth — who is a superhero — and . . . you see [Robert] Downey [Jr.] with the [Iron Man] suit, and it's the first time I geeked out a bit.
The Avengers was written and directed by Whedon and co-stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
