New "Spy" Pics from the Set of Men in Black III Capture Will Smith in Action

Amateur "spy" pics of series star Will Smith and newcomer Josh Brolin have been popping up online ever since Men in Black III went back into production in April after a string of delays, but they were mostly walking-and-talking shots and, frankly, were not interesting enough to write about. But, now a set of recent spy pics from the Manhattan shoot has turned up that has piqued our curiosity. The new pics show Smith jumping out of the window of an apartment building in Soho — Doing your own stunts at 42? Way to go, Will! — in his characteristic Agent Jay suit, gun in hand, and then dashing down the street. There's also a nice shot of Smith and Brolin, who plays the younger version of Jay's partner, Kay (the elder is played by Tommy Lee Jones) making some pretty silly looking faces.
Men in Black III is currently in production under the direction of Barry Sonnenfeld, the director of the first two Men in Black movies. The series is based on the comic book created and written by Lowell Cunningham and illustrated by Sandy Carruthers that was first published by Aircel Comics in 1990. Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) wrote the initial draft of the script, which has since been rewritten twice, first by Jeff Nathanson (Rush Hour 3) and secondly by David Koepp (Jurassic Park). The movie follows Agent Jay back to 1969, where he teams up with the younger version (Brolin) of his partner, Agent Kay (Jones), to prevent an evil alien named Boris (Jemaine Clement) from wiping out the planet in the future. Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Michael Stuhlbarg, Betty White and Nicole Scherzinger also star.
