First Poster for The Three Musketeers Shows the Entire Cast

Finally, an adaptation of The Three Musketeers is arriving in the way that author Alexandre Dumas always intended: in 3-D and from the director of Resident Evil: Afterlife. Of course, sarcasm aside, Dumas died before the advent of moving pictures so he'd likely be delighted to see any movie in 2-D.
Yahoo! has revealed the first poster for director Paul W.S. Anderson's adaptation, which manages to cram every main character into it. The movie stars
Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan, who joins forces with the Three Musketeers — Aramis (Matthew Macfayden), Porthos (Ray Stevenson), and Athos (Luke Evans) — to bring down the evil Cardinal Richelieu (Christoph Waltz), and while the poster includes those characters, it adds Milla Jovovich as the curly-haired Milady de Winter, Orlando Bloom as the Duke of
Earring Buckingham, and Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort, who is positioned with his eye patch near Macfayden's crotch.
Besides taking a few liberties here and there, Anderson has promised that he and co-screenwriter Andrew Davies (Bridget Jones's Diary) will deliver a faithful adaptation. It's hard to believe that they'd do worse than Disney's awful 1993 adaptation of The Three Musketeers, which starred Charlie Sheen and Kiefer Sutherland. Anderson's The Three Musketeers opens October 14.
