Anne Hathaway's Revealing Wardrobe Malfunction During the Filming of The Dark Knight Rises

Apparently, actress Anne Hathaway is really, really excited to be playing Selina Kyle — and, presumably, Ms. Kyle's more famous alter ego, Catwoman — in director Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR). It was recently revealed her exuberance on the set resulted in a stuntman receiving a black eye after she "got a bit carried away" and hit him in the eye with a prop gun. Now, a production "insider" has reported the stuntman isn't the only casualty of Hathaway's energetic approach to bringing Ms. Kyle to life. According to ShowbizSpy, Hathaway's active acting caused her costume to "split right open right on her bottom" during the filming of a recent fight scene.
She’s putting everything into this role both physically and emotionally and the wardrobe department is paying the price. She must have gone through a dozen costume changes due to Anne throwing herself around.
The TDKR production moved to London after principal photography initially got underway in Jodhpur, India. However, crew trucks, trailers and cranes for "Magnus Rex," the "secret" title of the movie, have been spotted in multiple locations throughout London so it's unknown where Hathaway's recent set calamities took place. TDKR will remain in London through at least June 22nd and then move to Glasgow, Scotland, for what might only amount to a second unit shoot. TDKR will then pack up and come stateside, where it will film in Los Angeles, New York City, Pittsburgh, and possibly Newark. Open casting call announcements have already been made for the Los Angeles and Pittsburgh shoots in case you live in those areas and want to try your luck at becoming an extra.
The Dark Knight Rises was written by Nolan's brother, Jonathan, from an idea conceived by the director and David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight). Returning cast members include Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Sir Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Nestor Carbonell as the mayor of Gotham City, and Gary Oldman as Commissioner James Gordon. New additions include Juno Temple as Holly Robinson, Marion Cotillard as Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as policeman John Blake, Alon Aboutboul as a "mad scientist," Brett Cullen as a judge, Chris Ellis as a priest, and Tom Conti and Joey King in as-yet-unspecified roles.
