First Image of Sacha Baron Cohen's Dictator Released

If there is one thing we know about Sacha Baron Cohen, it's that he's not afraid of getting into character, as we know from his previous roles as Borat, the Kazakh journalist that visits America, and as Brüno, the flamboyantly gay Austrian fashion reporter. So when the name of Cohen's next movie is Dictator, it would be a safe assumption to expect to see Baron Cohen dressed in a ridiculous uniformed costume. And Paramount didn't disappoint when it released the first photo of Baron Cohen in his new character.
Unlike Borat or Brüno, Dictator looks to be more like a traditional comedy than a mockumentary. According to Deadline, the movie is about a dictator who visits the United States for a United Nations meeting only to find that his handlers have replaced him with a lookalike, leaving him to wander the streets of New York City, where he meets the owner of an organic food store (Anna Faris).
The movie was penned by former Seinfeld writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer, and David Mandel and is being directed by Larry Charles, who also directed Borat and Brüno. The movie is being produced by Baron Cohen, the writers, and The Social Network's Scott Rudin.
