New, Bloody Red Band Trailer for Conan the Barbarian

The promotional offerings for Lionsgate's Conan the Barbarian have been filled with action-packed swordplay, witches, maidens, and serpentine monsters, all the things that fans might expect from a movie adapted of the sword and sorcery stories of Robert E. Howard. What they have lacked is blood. But not anymore.
Conan the Barbarian was directed by Marcus Nispel, whose previous movies include the 2003 reboot of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th, and the 2007 adventure movie Pathfinder. If the newly released red band trailer for Conan is any guide, the bloody violence of Pathfinder is showing up in Nispel's latest.
Conan the Barbarian stars Jason Momoa as the Cimmerian warrior seeking revenge after a ruthless warlord (Stephen Lang) kills his father (Ron Perlman) and destroys his village. Along the path of redemption, Conan confronts the evil witch Marique (Rose McGowan) and a beautiful warrior princess (Rachel Nichols).
