First Look at Tom Cruise in Rock of Ages; Controversy Over Photo Ban

Tom Cruise rocks some long locks (and some interesting tattoos) in the first photo from the rock musical Rock of Ages.
Cruise plays '80s rocker Stacee Jaxx in Adam Shankman's musical, which also stars Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti, and Bryan Cranston.
The movie recently started shooting in Fort Lauderdale but there's already controversy brewing.
A lawsuit has been filed against the city for prohibiting photography around a popular downtown club where the movie is filming. The lawsuit, filed by the Society of Professional Journalists and a SouthFloridaGayNews.com, claims the city has prohibited people from taking photos. There are yellow warning signs stating, "Photography of this area is prohibited. Strictly enforced by FLPD. Violators subject to arrest."
The lawsuit claims the ban on photography, even from public areas and other nearby areas, sends a "direct chilling effect upon the exercise of First Amendment rights."
Lawyer Norm Kent said this about the ban:
The police have become unwitting agents of unconstitutionality. Freedom of expression, which includes photography, cannot be controlled by movie studios from Hollywood, even if Tom Cruise is in the film.
Think getting a spy pic of Cruise is worth all this hassle? Which '80s hair band do you think Cruise could be the lead singer of?
