J.Lo Due for What to Expect When You're Expecting

Jennifer Lopez is about to strap on the pregnancy tummy again for another rom-com take on what it is like being pregnant.
The American Idol judge has just signed on to star in Lionsgate's What to Expect When You're Expecting. If you think the movie is going to follow the book, which has become a staple for expecting moms for years, think again.
Instead of being an informative look at what to expect from pregnancy, the studio is describing the movie this way.
[It's] a modern look at love through the eyes of four interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you plan for, life doesn’t always deliver what's expected.
Cue the required slapstick delivery scene now. Joining J.Lo is Cameron Diaz and Isla Fisher. Ed Helms is rumored to be joining the cast as well.
We can't help but be curious why J.Lo is returning back to maternal comedy, given that it took looking up her filmography to remember the title of her last pregnancy comedy — The Back-up Plan, which barely recouped it's $35M budget. (Hey, 50 stylists don't come cheap.)
What to Expect is filming this summer and is "due" in theaters Mother Day's Weekend 2012.
