New Spy Video for The Dark Knight Rises Reveals Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway; Christopher Nolan to Produce Supernatural Thriller

Ever since The Dark Knight Rises started shooting in May, several attempts to crack the secrecy surrounding the highly-anticipated sequel have come up mostly empty. Last month, a spy photo revealed someone (no idea who) will jump out a window, while a casting call revealed that Gotham will be depicted as "city besieged by crime and corruption" (which seems par for the course considering the previous movies) and a teaser trailer didn't reveal anything because it was a fake. Even interviews with supposed "sources" close to the production have only revealed that Anne Hathaway's Catwoman costume will include goggles.
The latest "spy" video again does little to reveal the movie's plot, but shows blurry footage of Christian Bale and Hathaway acting in a scene set during the rainstorm and shot in front of what is reportedly Wayne Manor. At the end of the take, director Christopher Nolan even walks over to the actors, who are not wearing the costumes of their alter egos.
While Nolan is directing The Dark Knight Rises, he also remains busy producing Man of Steel, and has just set up yet another movie to produce for writer-director Keith Gordon. Deadline reports the project is a "supernatural thriller," based on a book no one knows the title of. Beyond that, all the other details remain unknown. Sounds about right for a Nolan production.
One mystery we can uncover is Gordon, who started his career as an actor in movies like 1983's Christine and 1986's Back to School before directing movies like 1988's The Chocolate War, the 1992 war movie A Midnight Clear, and the criminally-underrated 2000 drama Waking the Dead. Gordon has remained busy with television series like Showtime's Dexter and AMC's The Killing since directing his last feature, 2003's The Singing Detective.
