Jesse Eisenberg Not Sure About Zombieland 2

2009 zombie comedy Zombieland scored big at the box office, earning $102 million worldwide, prompting director Ruben Fleischer to confirm a 3-D sequel a month after the movie opened. After that announcement, however, information about the sequel slowed.
Last February, Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick revealed that there "absolutely will be a sequel" and that they had "too many ideas" for the sequel script. However, instead of getting to work on the sequel, Fleischer moved on to other projects like the upcoming 30 Minutes or Less, and will start shooting Gangster Squad in September — though Fleischer said last month that Zombieland 2 could happen "maybe after Gangster."
Zombieland actor Jesse Eisenberg isn't as confident, however, responding to Little White Lies' question about whether he was working on Zombieland 2 with "no".
They’re writing the script right now but I haven’t seen it and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be. I mean, all the actors [Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin] would love to do it and the director would love to do it but I’m not sure what’s happening.
Fleischer revealed that he read an "early draft" of the Zombieland 2 script last September, and two months later, Reese revealed that the script for Zombieland 2 will be "a bigger movie" adding, "everything will happen on a grander scale." That is, if the movie ever gets made.
Eisenberg clearly likes working with Fleischer, as the actor is playing the lead role in 30 Minutes or Less, which opens August 12th. Zombieland 2 would be their third collaboration.
