Two New Posters for Final Destination 5

The horror portion of the summer movie season doesn't begin until August, when Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Fright Night, and Final Destination 5 all open within a week of each other. The only horror sequel of the three, Final Destination 5 opens first on August 12, almost two years after the supposed final chapter in the franchise, The Final Destination.
The first trailer for Final Destination 5 debuted in May and, two months later, New Line is turning on the promotional machine again by releasing not one but two new posters for the sequel. Both posters reveal the movie's plot, which follows a group of survivors of a suspension bridge collapse. As has happened in every Final Destination movie, the premonition that saves the group initially turns out to be worthless, as Death comes for them all. Fans of the series will be pleased that the sequel recently received a R-rating from the MPAA due to "strong violent/gruesome accidents, and some language."
Final Destination 5 was written by Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street) and directed by James Cameron protege Steven Quale (Aliens of the Deep) and stars Emma Bell (Frozen, AMC's The Walking Dead), Nicholas D'Agosto (Fired Up), Arlen Escarpeta (Friday the 13th), P.J. Byrne (Dinner for Schmucks), David Koechner (Anchorman), and Tony Todd, who reprises his character of the prophetic mortician Bludworth from Final Destination and Final Destination 2.
