Marion Cotillard Spotted on the Set of The Dark Knight Rises (SPOILERS)

We're just as crazy about movies as you are. We get excited when little tidbits of information are revealed in "spy" pics and videos taken on the sets of our favorite movies in production. However, like many of you, we also have a limit to how much we want to know about certain movies before they come out in theaters. Case in point: Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, which is currently filming in Pittsburgh. We've thrilled along with you to the awesome "spy" pics and videos that have been hitting the 'net from all of the various locations around Pittsburgh where scenes are being filmed, from seeing Bane's (Tom Hardy) full costume, to Batman (Christian Bale) beating up Bane, to the pyrotechnic explosion at 'Blackgate Prison' that supposedly frees Bane. None of these pics or videos spoiled the plot of the movie for us or anyone else who knows anything about DC Comics' "Knightfall" storyline on which the movie is partially based. However, amidst the shots of Batman and Bane's throwdown were several shots — the first shots — of Marion Cotillard in costume, and to see them is to have certain plot points spoiled, so we've saved the reveals until after the jump so you can decide for yourself how much you want to know.
When it was first announced that Cotillard would be joining the cast, her character was listed as 'Miranda Tate' and described as a Wayne Enterprises board member. However, Cotillard was captured wearing an outfit that more closely resembles a member of the League of Shadows and she was spotted climbing into a militarized Tumbler, the same type of Wayne Enterprises prototype vehicle that Bruce Wayne (Bale) turned into his Bat-mobile in Batman Begins. So, who is Cotillard really playing? Well, it's likely that Miranda Tate is the cover identity for Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra's al Ghul (played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins), who happens to be Batman's sometimes-lover and the mother of his only child (and current Robin) in the Batman comic books. See? Told you there were some surprises in store if you hit the jump.
The Dark Knight Rises was written by Jonathan Nolan from a story conceived by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. The cast includes Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Sir Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Nestor Carbonell as the mayor of Gotham City, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, Josh Pence as a younger (or mystically rejuvenated) Ra's al Ghul, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as policeman John Blake, Juno Temple as Holly Robinson, Matthew Modine as Nixon and Alon Aboutboul as a "mad scientist." Christopher Judge, Tom Conti and Joey King also star in as-yet-unspecified roles.
