New Character Posters and Still Photo for A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

It's been three years since Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) had to escape from Guantanamo Bay, but the two friends are back for a third installment this November with A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas.
To promote the sequel, New Line Cinema has released several new character posters for the sequel including ones for Harold and Kumar, as well as a poster for NPH, a.k.a. Neil Patrick Harris and one that combines all three actors.
Also promoting the upcoming movie is MTV, who have offered a new still photo from the sequel as well as an interview with Cho and Penn that reveals that the movie may include, according to Cho, "enhanced nudity," perhaps because A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas will be presented in 3-D.
Avatar was in 3-D. I'm not in competition with Avatar. I'm not in competition with James Cameron. He does his thing. We do our thing. He makes cartoons. I understand he had a good year. I'm just saying, the technology isn't his.
The latest adventure finds Harold and Kumar in different places than in 2008. Cho says that "Kumar is looking for a way to stay in his younger existence, and Harold is artificially trying to be more mature," while Penn explains that, now that Harold is married, that Kumar has had a difficult time adjusting.
When the last film left off, Kumar and Vanessa (Daneel Harris) were obviously very much together. Over the next six years, Vanessa moved into Kumar's apartment. They continued their relationship. It was moving down the road toward marriage. And then Kumar lost his job. He couldn't stop smoking weed. It wasn't as much the weed as him completely latching on to still being frivolous and still being down for whatever and not taking Vanessa seriously and taking her for granted. So slowly after he lost Harold to Maria, he kind of grew resentful of the notion that if his best friend could go off and choose this woman over him, then maybe everyone was just out to get him. He drifted further apart from Vanessa. That's where we pick up now.
Fans of the franchise need not be worried. It seems that the duo is still up to their old tricks in the latest photo from the movie.
A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas was written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who wrote both Harold & Kumar movies and directed Guantanamo Bay, and was directed by newcomer Todd Strauss-Schulson.
