Puss in Boots Is the Most Interesting Cat in the World Without Pants

DreamWorks is trying something different to advertise its upcoming Shrek spinoff, Puss in Boots, and have started focusing on viral commercial parodies instead of the traditional trailers and TV spots.
A trailer released in June explained the plot of the movie, which is essentially a prequel that chronicles the adventures of Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) prior to meeting Shrek in 2004's Shrek 2, and sees the swashbuckling cat take down Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris) before they destroy the world. With plot already explained in the previous trailer, DreamWorks can feel free to have fun with the character, interjecting him into commercial parodies, the first of which satirizes the Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" campaign.
The second parody is a little less specific, parodying jean commercials in general as Puss discusses his "No Pants" pants.
Puss in Boots was directed by Chris Miller, co-director of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and features the voice talents of Zach Galifianakis as Humpty Dumpty and Salma Hayek as Kitty Softpaws.
