Greg Kinnear on The Kennedys Emmy Wins, Joel Surnow on Feeling Vindicated

At the premiere for this week's I Don't Know How She Does It, Greg Kinnear took some time out to talk about the The Kennedys winning three Emmy so far and what those awards mean to everyone who "worked really hard" on the series, which almost didn't make it to broadcast TV when the History Channel decided not to air it.
I think [the cast and crew] felt a little lost, given what happened. So to get some recognition afterwards was a nice reward for them.
Kinnear (JFK in The Kennedys) is nominated for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie at this weekend's Primetime Emmys alongside his co-star Barry Pepper, who played RFK. The Kennedys other nominations for Sunday night include Outstanding Miniseries or Movie and Supporting Actor for Tom Wilkinson, who played Joe Kennedy Sr.
The Kennedys executive producer Joel Surnow also spoke with Fox News about the series' path from being rejected to becoming an Emmy-award winner.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were taped last weekend at the Nokia Theatre in L.A., will air this Saturday, Sept. 17, at 8PM ET/PT. The show kicks off Emmy Weekend on ReelzChannel with three big nights of coverage. ReelzChannel is on DirecTV channel 238, Dish Network channel 299, and available on your cable or satellite system.
