Red Band Trailer for The Thing Prequel Reveals More Creature

For fans of John Carpenter's The Thing, one of the top questions about director Matthijs van Heijningen's upcoming The Thing prequel is, How similar will the creature look? Well, the new red band trailer has the creature making an impressive amount of appearances in a short amount of time.
What else have we seen of the creature, which can replicate cellular tissue, essentially becoming an imitation of whatever it wants? It first appeared in the prequel's first trailer. We then saw more of it in the subsequent preview clip, TV spot, and new still images. We've also heard from the movies makeup effects artists (Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr.), who've said producers insisted the effects be "in the language of the Carpenter film" — a very good sign to fans of Carpenter's version.
The Thing stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton, along with Eric Christian Olsen, Jonathan Walker, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Dennis Storhøi, Trond Espen Seim, Jørgen Langhelle, Stig Henrik Hoff, Jan Gunnar Røise, Kristofer Hivju, and Jo Adrian Haavind. Ultimately based on the John W. Campbell Jr. novella Who Goes There?, the script for the prequel was written by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica) and Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street).
