The Sitter Red Band TV Spot and International Poster
09.21.11 by Ryan
Just in case anyone missed the message that Jonah Hill is the worst babysitter a parent could hire to watch their children in last month's red band trailer for The Sitter, the studio has released a new international poster as well as a red band TV spot)
It's a little ironic that Fox has released an "R-rated TV spot" since The Sitter is still without a rating from the MPAA. But clearly it's not a movie parents are going to bring their children to see. Outside of finding a hundred ways to beat Hill up, the TV spot also does a good job of revealing the movie's plot, which isn't too complicated: Hill plays a recent college dropout who finds himself the unlikely babysitter for three misbehaving children (Max Records, Landry Bender, and Kevin Hernandez). When he decides to take the kids out with him so he can meet up with the girl he likes (Ari Graynor), let's just say that things don't go well in this adventure in babysitting (see what we did there?).
The Sitter co-stars
Sam Rockwell, D.W. Moffett, and J.B. Smoove.
David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) directs and screenwriting newcomers Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka and co-penned the movie.
