Die Hard 5 Gets Title and Release Date; Taken 2 and Percy Jackson 2 Also Scheduled

Looks like Fox is finally ready to get serious about Die Hard 5 before Bruce Willis starts collecting social security (if you think that's harsh, we'd like to note that Willis himself said in 2009 that the studio better get to work on another Die Hard since he wasn't "getting any younger"). Max Payne director John Moore was officially hired to direct in September, but nothing more has been revealed about the upcoming sequel. More details have finally come to light.
According to SlashFilm, Fox CEO Tom Rothman appeared on The Jim Rome Show to reveal that the fifth Die Hard movie will be called A Good Day to Die Hard and will start shooting early next year in January.
While reports had already revealed that the sequel would be set in Russia with John McClane (Willis) trying to save his son, Rothman revealed that McClane travels to Russia to talk to the Russian police about letting his son out of jail and finds that the incident surrounding his son's arrest leads to a world-threatening terrorist plot. Of course it does.
Young McClane has yet to be cast, and, at least in the report, there's no mention of whether Justin Long will reprise his role from 2007's Live Free or Die Hard.
Written by Skip Woods (The A-Team), A Good Day to Die Hard has been scheduled to arrive February 14th, 2013. As for a rating, Rothman said that no decision has been made, and the sequel could end up either R or PG-13. Our guess would be PG-13, since that was the rating for Live Free or Die Hard.
The fifth Die Hard isn't the only movie that Fox has scheduled for release. Box Office Mojo has revealed release dates for both Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters and Taken 2.
Sea of Monsters, the first sequel to last year's Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, is set to open on March 27, 2013. Thor Freudenthal (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) is reportedly set to direct the sequel from a script by Scot Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (1408, Man of the Moon), adapted from the second novel in Rick Riordan's Camp Half-Blood series. Logan Lerman will reprise his title role in the sequel.
Taken 2 will arrive before either Sea of Monsters or Die Hard 5, opening a little under a year from now on October 5, 2012. Liam Neeson will return to his role of former CIA agent Bryan Mills, with Maggie Grace returning to play Neeson's daughter, Kim.
Taken screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen is back to pen the sequel, which will be directed by Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) instead of Pierre Morel, who directed the original 2009 thriller. Story details have been kept under wraps, but Neeson hinted in February that, this time, it might be his character that gets "taken" instead of his daughter or another family member. We'll find out soon.
