Creepy New International Trailer for The Woman in Black Starring Daniel Radcliffe
10.14.11 by Ryan
Now removed from the world of Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe is still the man to look to when the world of the supernatural starts causing problems.
Radcliffe's latest movie, The Woman in Black, sees the actor play Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he soon discovers the ghostly spectre known as the Woman in Black. Despite warnings from the locals (oh, them and their warnings), Radcliffe searches for the identity of the Woman in Black and what it is she truly wants.
A new, creepy trailer for the movie, based on the 1983 novel by Susan Hill, has been released via MSN UK, and shows Radcliffe in a huge amount of trouble with no one coming to help this time.
Before watching the trailer, check out the official synopsis below.
The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
The Woman in Black was written by Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) and directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake). Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer and Shaun Dooley co-star. The movie is scheduled to open on February 3, 2012, in the U.S. a week before it opens in the U.K.
