Discover "The Secret of Longevity" in New Preview Clips from Andrew Niccol's In Time

If the technology existed to permanently arrest the aging process, what would that mean for humanity? This is just one of the many philosophical questions posed in writer-director Andrew Niccol's (Gattaca) upcoming sci-fi thriller, In Time.
Set in a retro-futuristic world in which the threat of overpopulation due to just such a technology has forced global economies to barter in time rather than currency — the wealthier you are, the more time you have and the longer you live — In Time stars Justin Timberlake as Will Salas, a poor young man who has been forced to watch his loved ones get old and die while the rich retain eternal youth. But, there's a price for that eternal youth as Salas discovers when he inherits a vast amount of time from a wealthy 105-year-old man (Matthew Bomer) and becomes the target of the "Timekeepers," an FBI-like organization that doesn't want that much time falling into the hands of someone like him.
In the first clip, Salas discovers that "The Secret of Longevity" is the necessity of a balance sheet measured in human lives: "For a few to be immortal, many must die."
Mother? Daughter? Wife? In the second clip, we see how a society made up of people who all look the same age can lead to some "Confusing Times" when it comes to dating.
In Time also stars Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy, Alex Pettyfer, and Johnny Galecki. It opens nationwide on October 28th.
