New Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Preview Clip Reveals a Throw-Down Between Paula Patton and Léa Seydoux

Like we thought, Paula Patton has made it into the promotional campaign for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. They just had to make it through the rest of the team first.
After focusing on Tom Cruise's stunt work in the movie's first featurette and trailers, Jeremy Renner's leap into an air shaft was featured in two separate preview clips before Simon Pegg's returning Mission: Impossible III character was the given his own featurette. Finally, Patton's work as the only female member of a disavowed Impossible Mission Force is displayed in the latest preview clip from the sequel. The clip reveals a fight between Patton and Léa Seydoux that involves all the classic catfight staples: punching, breaking furniture, clothes ripping and brandishing a wine opener like a knife.
Of course, there's a reason why Patton was the last actor to get her own preview clip, since she is the least well-known of the four members of the IMF team. That's likely to change after Ghost Protocol, as more of Patton's fighting scenes are revealed in one of the TV spots, which reveals Patton flipping Slumdog Millionaire's Anil Kapoor over her shoulder.
Ghost Protocol is the live-action directorial debut of Brad Bird (The Incredibles) and was produced by Mission: Impossible III director J.J. Abrams, and written by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Christopher McQuarrie. Josh Holloway (Lost), Michael Nyqvist (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), and Vladimir Mashkov (Behind Enemy Lines) co-star.
