Daniel Radcliffe Is EW's Entertainer of the Year, Wizarding World of Harry Potter to Open in Los Angeles

He acts, he sings, he dances, he casts spells. Daniel Radcliffe can pretty much do it all, which is why Entertainment Weekly has named him Entertainer of the Year.
The young actor completed his sting as the world's favorite boy wizard with this year's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, he starred in the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and the trailers for next year's The Woman in Black are already creeping out audiences. Being named Entertainer of the Year is just another indication that Radcliffe is not destined to fade into obscurity the way so many child stars do.
What's the best way to celebrate this win? With a pint of butterbeer at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, of course.
In a press release on Tuesday, Warner Bros. and Universal announced that the Wizarding World will get a second location at Universal Studios Hollywood and a significant expansion in Orlando. According to Deadline, Universal Orlando saw a 50% increase in attendance since the June 2010 opening of its Wizarding World.
According to Mugglenet, the expansion at Orlando is rumored to include reproductions of Diagon Alley shops such as Gringotts Bank and the Leaky Cauldron, as well as a new roller coaster, and a Platform 9 3/4 where patrons could board the Hogwarts Express. In the official announcement about the new park in Los Angeles, the only specific attraction that was mentioned was a "majestic Hogwarts castle to serve as the centerpiece."
We're hoping the park will include Dumbledore's office where fans can play with all of the wizard's gadgets and a potions class conducted by Snape. That's not too much to ask, is it? Post a comment to let us know what features you'd most like to see at at Harry Potter theme park.
