First Trailer for Wrath of the Titans a Clash of New Creatures

The 2009 remake Clash of the Titans took a beating with critics, one of whom called it a "trash-compacted mash-up of other, better movies". But after earning $491 million in worldwide box office, Warner Bros. wasn't going to pass on a sequel.
Enter Wrath of the Titans, which will again follow the adventures of Perseus (Sam Worthington), the demigod son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), who must once again jump into action to deal with conflicts between the gods in order to save humanity. That may sound lofty, but the trailer looks like the sequel will still be mostly about Perseus fighting off a variety of new creatures, only this time he will be aided by the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Argenor (Toby Kebbell), the demigod son of Poseidon (Danny Huston), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy).
There is a story involved in the movie, one that is summed up in the sequel's official synopsis, or alternately by watching the recently released Immortals, which dealt with many of the same Greek myths. If the footage looks promising to you, you're in luck, since Warner Bros. is already working on a third installment.
Wrath of the Titans was directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) and written by Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson from a story by Mazeau, Johnson, and Greg Berlanti.
