First Photo of Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard in Lovelace

Hollywood usually likes to make movies in two's (for example, two live-action Snow White movies will be competing at the box office this year), so it's no surprise that two biopics about late 1970's porn star Linda Lovelace — Lovelace and Inferno: a Linda Lovelace Story — would start shooting at roughly the same time.
The first to release an image is Lovelace, which stars Amanda Seyfried (Red Riding Hood) in the title role. Considering Lovelace's pornographic career, including the infamous 1972 movie Deep Throat, there may be some that expect a more titillating photo, but directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl) are creating a more historical look at the starlet's life, who later renounced her porn career and claims she was forced into it by her abusive husband Chuck Traynor (played by Peter Sarsgaard). Instead, first photo for Lovelace, revealed by EW, shows the couple in the early stages of the relationship, with Seyfried (as Lovelace) showing off either her engagement or wedding ring while the two embrace in their car.
Lovelace was written by Andy Bellin (Trust) and co-stars Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct, Casino) and Robert Patrick (T2) as Lovelace's parents;, Hank Azaria (The Smurfs) as Deep Throat director Jerry Damiano; Juno Temple (The Three Musketeers) as Lovelace's best friend; and Chris Noth and Bobby Cannavale as Deep Throat financiers Anthony Romano and Butchie Peraino, respectively. Demi Moore, Eric Roberts and Adam Brody were recently added to the cast as feminist author Gloris Steinem, lie detector expert Nat Laurendi and Lovelace's Deep Throat co-star Harry Reems, respectively.
Lovelace is currently in production and does not have a release date.
