Will The Expendables 2 Be Less Badass than the Original Because of Chuck Norris?

Hopefully, we'll eventually be able to chalk this news item up to a poor Polish-to-English translation, but right now it appears as if the sequel to the most badass, he-manliest movie of 2010, The Expendables, is going to be decidedly less badass. That is, if former Bruce Lee punching bag-turned-iconic tough guy Chuck Norris has his way. In a recent interview with the Polish news site Gazeta (translation supplied by ExpendablesPremeire), Norris said that his addition to the cast of The Expendables 2 came with the stipulation that the sequel drop the "vulgar dialogue" that was typical of the first movie and littered throughout the script for the sequel and shoot for a PG-13 rating.
In Expendables 2, there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay. For this reason, many young people wouldn't be able to watch this. But i [sic] don't play in movies like this. Due to that i [sic] said i [sic] won't be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13.
Hmm... It seems kind of unlikely that one of the least-bankable new additions to Sly Stallone's action hero boy band — and girl, now that Yu Nan is providing back-up vocals — could dictate a script rewrite and rating downgrade. Then again, a PG-13 rating would pretty much guarantee a wider audience and a bigger bang at the box office, which Stallone most likely needs just to pay for the crew he has assembled for the second go-round: Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis.
