More of the TV spots for upcoming movies that aired during Sunday's Super Bowl have made their debut online, including the spots for Safe House and Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace 3D.
Written by newcomer David Guggenheim and directed by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Espinosa (Snabba Cash), Safe House is an action-thriller set in Cape Town, South Africa, that stars Ryan Reynolds as a young CIA agent tasked with transporting a renegade CIA agent (Denzel Washington) to a new location after the safe house where he was being kept is attacked by mercenaries. Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, Ruben Blades, Sam Shepard and Tim McGraw also star.
Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace 3D brings the incredibly imaginative world of droids, Jedis, and Sith Lords created by George Lucas back to the big screen and in 3-D for the very first time. When the peaceful planet Naboo becomes a pawn in the struggle between the corrupt Trade Federation and the Galactic Alliance, Jedi knights Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) are called on to assist Naboo's Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman). Along the way, the Jedis encounter Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), a young slave with a powerful connection to the force who will one day become the sinister Darth Vader. Ian McDiarmid, Ray Park, Jimmy Smits and Anthony Daniels also star.
