Robert Pattinson Says He Would Be Too Old to Return as Edward Cullen

Twi-hards, grab some Kleenex.
The vampires in Twilight might live forever but Robert Pattinson's tenure as Edward Cullen is all but over.
While plugging his upcoming movie Bel Ami, Pattinson hinted that after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 later this year, he's done with the role that made him a star. Pattinson was asked if he would be interested in returning to the world of Twilight if author Stephanie Meyer decided to pen another installment.
I'd be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I'd probably be too old. I'm already too old. But yeah, it'd be kind of interesting.
At 25, Pattinson is probably already pushing the limit of playing the forever 17 Cullen. But what is this news about a possible continuation of Twilight?
The talks of another Twilight all originated with Lionsgate boss Rob Friedman during an analyst call when he told investors that the studio (which recently bought out Summit) would be onboard for a sixth Twilight movie if Meyer wrote another book.
In a reply, Meyer said she was "not going to say no" but has not technically said "yes" either.
Even if there were to be another Twilight movie, could fans even accept someone new taking on the role of Cullen? Or would it be wiser to introduce a new vampire clan if Meyer ever does decides to go back down that well? Or should all parties just let it end with Breaking Dawn?
