Bullet to the Head Delayed

Sylvestor Stallone fans will have to wait even longer to see the star's Bullet to the Head. The movie's delayed release date is the second bitter pill to swallow for fans, after Stallone announced that The Expendables 2 would be rated PG-13. Bullet to the Head was set to hit theaters April 13, just few months before The Expendables 2 (opening Aug. 17), but Warner Bros. removed the movie from its upcoming release schedule, according to Deadline, and without a new release date in order, it seems the movie is just simply not a priority for the studio.
Warner Bros. claim it doesn't want the movie to be up against two other movies coming out the same weekend, The Three Stooges and The Cabin in the Woods
. However, both movies aren't even the same genre as Bullet to the Head, which also lead some to believe Warners has a different motive. Whatever the reason may be, hopes for the action movie may dwindle with dimming expectations from fans.
Bullet is based on a French graphic novel and directed by Walter Hill. Stallone plays a hitman who joins with a cop to seek revenge on the killer of their respective partners. The movie's release date, as of now, is TBD.
