Two New Images from G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Last month was a promotional bonanza for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, with Paramount releasing a Super Bowl ad, international trailer, and two TV spots for the upcoming sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
With Retaliation readying for a June release, the studio is keeping the movie in the public eye by slowly trickling out new images. First, there was one of Snake Eyes (Ray Park) brandishing a gun instead of a sword that was released by Total Film last week. Besides the new choice in weapon, the photo is another sign that director Jon Chu (Step Up 3D) has made Snake Eyes look more like his comic book/cartoon version, instead of his Rise of Cobra appearance where his mask outlined his face and lips.
The second, most recent photo is a look at Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton, in a shot not shown in the movie's trailer. In the still, Willis is taking aim at an unseen target, with Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) backing him up.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation also stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Roadblock, the new leader of a small group of G.I. Joes left after Cobra delivers a fatal blow to most of the unit. The rest of the cast includes Channing Tatum as Duke, Lee Byung-hun as Storm Shadow, Ray Stevenson as the mercenary Firefly, Elodie Yung (District 13: Ultimatum) as Jinx, Walton Goggins as Warden Nigel James, and Joseph Mazzello as Mouse. Retaliation was written by Zombieland screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
