Ten years after the events of Clash of the Titans, Perseus (Sam Worthington) will once again be pulled into the power struggle of the gods in the upcoming sequel Wrath of the Titans.
This time, Perseus is forced into action after his father Zeus (Liam Neeson) is captured by Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Ares (Édgar Ramirez), who have switched loyalty to Kronos — who is Hades and Zeus' father, held captive with the Titans in the dungeon Tartarus. The first preview clip sees the start of Hades' treachery, as he surprises Zeus by attacking him.
With Zeus out of the way, Hades and Ares are able to bring hell to Earth, leaving Perseus to fight a multitude of creatures, including the demonic killing machines called the Makhai, the foot soldiers of the Titans' army. Neeson, along with screenwriters Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson, discuss the creatures in a new featurette below.
Wrath of the Titans was directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) and co-stars Rosamund Pike as Queen Andromeda, Toby Kebbell as Argenor, Danny Huston as Poseidon, and Bill Nighy as Hephaestus.
