Total Recall Teases with Teaser Trailer
03.27.12 by Chris
We finally have our first look at Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake. The movie's first teaser trailer (yes, another teaser trailer) hit the web today and already people are making comparisons to The Fifth Element's city full of flying cars.
Clocking in at 33 seconds, the clip has plenty to look at, but if you're unfamiliar with the short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale by author Philip K. Dick or the 1990 movie version starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, you'll have no idea what this flick is about. The only shots we see from the teaser are: Star Colin Farrell overlooking a metropolis that looks like it came from Dark City; Farrell getting his head examined; people failing to wear seat belts in flying cars; random explosions; and Farrell fearlessly leaping from a building. For a little more background you can read the movie synopsis or wait until Sunday for the premiere of the full-length trailer (as the trailer states, "This Sunday . . . Get Ready . . . For The World . . . Trailer Premiere").
Watch the teaser now and come back Sunday for the the full trailer. And so you don't get your hopes up, no, there's no three-breasted mutant prostitute in the teaser.
Total Recall also stars Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston, and Bill Nighy.
