After defeating giant scorpions, the snake-headed Medusa (Natalia Vodianova), and the towering spawn of Hades (Ralph Fiennes) known as the Kraken in Clash of the Titans, Perseus (Sam Worthington) was hoping to retire from hero-work and spend the rest of his days in peace, working as a fisherman and caring for his 10-year-old son, Helius (John Bell). Alas, Perseus' fate is too closely intertwined with that of his father, Zeus (Liam Neeson), so when the king of the gods and ruler of Mount Olympus is betrayed by Hades and Ares (Edgar Ramirez) and imprisoned by Kronos, ruler of the Titans, it's up to Perseus to once again save the day.
With a new adventure comes new threats, many of which we've caught glimpses of in the various trailers and TV spots that have been released to promote the Wrath of the Titans. With the movie opening in theaters today, Warner Bros. has decided to offer a closer look at three of the new monsters that Perseus will confront in a trio of featurettes spotlighting Kronos, the Cyclops, and the Minotaur.
Wrath of the Titans was directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles). The cast includes Gemma Arterton as Io, Danny Huston as Poseidon, Rosamund Pike as Queen Andromeda, Matt Milne as Agathon, Toby Kebbell as Argenor, and Bill Nighy as Hephaestus.
