Steve Jobs, the man who founded Apple and is regarded as the greatest inventor of his time, will be played by none other than Ashton Kutcher in the upcoming indie Jobs. Variety first reported on the casting Sunday, leading many to believe it was an April Fool's Day joke. But no joke. Kutcher, who made a career of playing a dufus on That '70s Show, will play Jobs from his hippie days to his days as the CEO of one of the world's largest companies. Jobs is separate from the biopic Sony is developing based on Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography.
It's a girl for Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis. The couple welcomed their first child, Mabel Ray on Sunday. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully," said the couple in a statement. Of course, this isn't Willis' first child. The actor has three daughters, Rumor, 23; Scout, 20; and Tallulah; 18, with ex-wife Demi Moore.
It was a big weekend for Justin Bieber. The Biebs took home a Kids' Choice Award on Saturday, where he also go slimed, and won the Fan Choice trophy at the Juno Awards in his home country of Canada. In a pre-taped segment, he told his Canadian fans, "As we all know, I have the best fans in the world ... this is for you."
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was warned to cut back on his excessive drinking. Sources say during season two, producers of the hit MTV reality show sat down with Sorrentino and confronted him about his drinking problem, telling him that it was making it hard to shoot the show. Sorrentino assured producers he had it under control but lost control again during season three, so much in fact that producers threatened to replace him if he didn't get clean. Sorrentino showed signs of improvement when the show went to Italy but fell back into his old drinking ways once the show returned to the Jersey shore for the fifth season. Now Sorrentino is in rehab and is trying to sober up completely.
And in April Fool's Day news, a Charlize Theron sex tape leaked online.
