Several New Skyfall Photos Take Aim Online; Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem Discuss Their Roles

Production on Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond movie, started back in November but is still ongoing. Collider has compiled a collection of new photos from the upcoming movie, which include first looks at the characters played by Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris.
Few plot details have been revealed but, according to the synopsis, Skyfall will see Bond's (Daniel Craig) loyalty to M (Judi Dench) tested when her past comes back to haunt her. Fiennes reportedly plays a "darkly complex" role in the movie, which may have something to do with M's troubles as Fiennes revealed in January that his character was a "government agent." Harris, meanwhile, has said that she will play "a field agent" named Eve, who apparently thinks she is on the same level as Bond. According to the new photos of the actors, both get into some kind of action, as all the characters are shown aiming their guns, though director Sam Mendes (Jarhead) is pictured in a more pastoral setting.
Collider also found a video (via James Bond fansite 007.com) with on-set interviews of Craig and Javier Bardem, who plays a "super villain" in the movie (see set photos of the actor at work here). French model and actress Bérénice Marlohe also discusses her role as "Bond girl" Severine, but all three seem to struggle discussing the movie without spoiling it — especially Craig.
Skyfall was directed by Sam Mendes (Jarhead) and written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade (Quantum of Solace, Casino Royale), and John Logan (The Aviator). The movie also stars the recently cast third "Bond girl" Tonia Sotiropoulou (who reportedly will play Bond's "girlfriend," whatever that means), as well as Helen McCrory as "a British Member of Parliament named Clair Dowar,"; Rory Kinnear, reprising his Quantum of Solace role as Bill Tanner, M's chief of staff; Ben Whishaw as Q; and Albert Finney as "a Foreign Office mandarin with powers over the Secret Intelligence Service."
