It almost wasn't Saturday Night Live for singer Rihanna when the singer was a no-show for her final dress rehearsal for the show over the weekend. TMZ reports Rihanna called in sick for her final dress rehearsal, which is done live in front of a studio audience right before the actual show, which didn't make boss Lorne Michaels happy. When Rihanna showed up for the actual show but didn't appear sick, staff and cast were said to be shocked. Producers can't even remember the last time someone has skipped the dress rehearsal. Maybe she was busy tweeting "Happy Birthday" to former boyfriend Chris Brown.
Just a month after getting arrested for DUI and colliding with a police car, Amanda Bynes hit another car over the weekend. On Friday afternoon, the 26-year-old actress allegedly sideswiped a pick-up truck with her black Range Rover in Los Angeles and continued driving, which prompted the other driver to call 911. An LAPD police helicopter and six police cars tracked down Bynes' Range Rover. "It turned out the damage to the pick-up truck was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone," said LAPD Sgt. Zucker. "Because of that, we decided not to charge her with hit and run, took a traffic report instead and sent her on her way. There were no arrests made and no one was injured." Bynes is just proving the stereotype is true — celebrities can't drive.

. Jay talked about raising a daughter. "Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad," he said. "Until they're teenagers saying, 'Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!' Right? Everyone imagines that, right?" The rapper also said he looks to his mom for inspiration for parenting. "I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that," he continued, adding with a laugh: "Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."
He has hosted Jeopardy! for 28 years and is thinking of retiring. Who is Alex Trebek? In an interview with Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Trebek said he was contemplating stepping down from the game show. "Yes, I have been thinking of retiring," Trebek said. "But I'm torn because I enjoy doing the show so much. A lot of people have been telling me, 'Alex, you've got to go for at least 30. You've just done 28. Now at least do two more'. So that has a nice ring to it. Put in your 30. And go help people."
And in odd pair news, before his boxing match Saturday, Floyd Mayweather was joined in the ring by Lil Wayne, 50 Cent… and Justin Bieber?
