New Spoiler-y Poster For Prometheus; New Video Introduces Noomi Rapace

The marketing campaign for director Ridley Scott's upcoming Prometheus has been relatively spoiler-free, which has served to continue speculation over how the movie might be a prequel to Scott's 1979 sci-fi classic Alien. Besides a recent trailer that maybe revealed too much, promotion on the movie has toiled mostly with photos, photos, and more photos. That's not to exclude the movie's fantastic viral video campaign that revealed a Guy Pearce's character, Peter Weyland, giving a TEDTalk in the year 2023 about cybernetic individuals, as well as an introductory video of Michael Fassbender's android character, David.
The latest international poster isn't quite as subtle as its predecessors, as it reveals a possibly huge spoiler about how the "space jokey" spaceship found in Alien became stuck on LV-426. For that reason, we'll place it after the latest viral video, which introduces Noomi Rapace's character of archaeologist Dr. Elizabeth Shaw, and her plea to Weyland Industries to help her with her latest discovery.
Prometheus was initially written by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour) and rewritten by Damon Lindelof (Cowboys and Aliens, Lost). The cast also includes Idris Elba(Thor), Charlize Theron (Snow White and the Huntsman), Logan Marshall-Green (Devil), Sean Harris (Harry Brown), and Rafe Spall (Hot Fuzz).
And now, if you're feeling up for a spoiler, here's the new poster:
