Witches and Cream: Two Anchorman 2 Teasers Arrive Online

Despite the fact that it won't start production until next year and has no firm release date, a teaser trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues arrived in theaters this weekend prior to showings of The Dictator. After only a day, bootleg versions leaked online of course, much to the chagrin of Paramount Pictures we're sure.
For those who skipped the poorly shot, cell-phone bootleg, the studio has responded with not one but two teaser trailers featuring the Action4 news team of Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brian Fontana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and Champ Kind (David Koechner). While director Adam McKay and Ferrell have just started writing the script, the one-liners here should suffice for fans of the 2004 original.
The second teaser is a similar format, but with added voice-over and outcome.
Anchorman fans may have one question after watching the two teasers: Where's Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate)? McKay teased last month that the sequel could feature a "custody battle," which could mean that there's trouble in paradise for Burgundy and Corningstone. Or it could mean that there's a street brawl in the works with the evening news team that somehow involves custody of a baby. We'll have to wait and see. McKay did say the sequel will deal with more "diversity" among the Action4 News Team and that production would likely start "in February," for a possible winter 2013 or summer 2014 release.
