New Preview Clip from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Kills a Lot of Vampires

Throughout its promotional campaign, both the historical and genre sides of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter have been played up. The trailer released Memorial Day weekend had Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) reading the Gettysburg address over footage from the movie, while the red band trailer featured a series of short clips of Honest Abe slaying vampires.
The movie's new preview clip combines both elements. We see Lincoln and friend William Johnson (Anthony Mackie) take a train trip to Gettysburg that requires both men to chop up as many vampires as they can.
Based on author-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith's book of the same name, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter blends historical fact with the idea that Lincoln devoted his life to ridding the country of the undead after his own mother was slain by a bloodsucker. If the mash-up elements of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter's are as interesting to you as they are to us, Shock Till You Drop has some never-before-seen storyboard sequences turned into motion-comics that reveal more of Lincoln's history with vampires. Check out the Union soldiers of the North learning what they were truly up against and Lincoln vanquishing vampires in Springfield.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead co-stars as Mary Todd Lincoln, the President's wife, in a cast that includes Dominic Cooper as Henry Sturges, Lincoln's fanged mentor; Rufus Sewell as the main vampire antagonist, Adam; and Robin McLeavy as Nancy Hanks Lincoln, the president's mother. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and produced by Tim Burton.
