Transformers Actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Joins Mad Max: Fury Road Cast

With Charlize Theron officially cutting off her hair and casting decisions being made, we guess it's fair to say that director George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road is finally going to happen.
Delayed for years, Fury Road was set to start shooting in February of 2011. However, high levels of rain in Australia turned the Broken Hill location from what was supposed to be a "wasteland" to a "wonderful flower garden." The production was moved to Nambia, Africa, instead. With Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron playing the lead roles of "Mad" Max Rockatansky and Furiosa, respectively, more names are being added to the cast, namely Victoria's Secret model-turned-Transformers: Dark of the Moon actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
According to Just Jared, Huntington-Whiteley will play one of the "five wives" alongside Zoë Kravitz (X-Men: First Class), Riley Keough (Magic Mike), and if we did our math right, two others yet to be cast. Kravitz revealed last May that the wives are "being taken from one place to another place" in the movie. What significance the wives have, and who they're married to, though is unknown.
Fury Road is reportedly set shortly after the events of Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome and will be the start of a new trilogy. There's no word on whether the second installment, Mad Max: Furiosa, will be shot back-to-back with Fury Road as was rumored a few years ago.
